Marcus Wild, TELEGRAPH was 7 Year-Old Champion, Young Sport Horse
Champion at the Horse of the Year Show and won several
World Cup rounds. In Europe, he competed with distinction
in the World Young Horse Championships in Lanaken, Belgium.
In their first season together, Telegraph and John Cottle’s
wins included the 2004 National Championships and the
2004 Royal Easter Classic.

TELEREIGN, whose progeny were also successful on the
racecourse, has been a leading sire of international
sport horses in New Zealand, including Atlanta Olympic
Games silver medallist, Squirrel Hill.
PRECIPITATION has been, arguably,
the most influential jumping sire in the world and his
son, SUMMERTIME, proved an outstanding broodmare sire
in this country. This blood can be found in innumerable
winning horses over the past 10-20 years, both in Europe
and in New Zealand.
Dam QUATRO by ABERCONWAY. Aberconway was the sire of Aberlou,
outstanding sire of jumping horses including World Champion
three day eventer, Messiah, international three day
eventers Delta, Tactics, Eze. Lionheart and Alibi. Aberlou’s
dam Patricia Lou was by Revelation who sired, among
others winners, the Auckland Cup winner, Rev. Aberconway
was by the influential Abernant who appears in many
warmblood pedigrees, while his maternal grandsire, Big
Game is also a recognised jumping sire. |
